A/Visions programming brings together the avant-garde and new passages in audiovisual experience at the international level: performances take us to universes individual to each guest artist through risky new formats, creative technology, multidisciplinary experimentation, and a disruption of current trends in aesthetic experience. A/Visions unites audiovisual pioneers, emerging artists, and commissioned projects in a unique curatorship to introduce intense sensory experiences that make audiences feel other dimensions and which show what creativity is capable of achieving through technology.
A/Visions 3 is a point of transition between the contemplative and the high sensory stimulation of A/Visions 1 and 2, and the intense diversity of rhythm and sound awaiting in the marathon of Nocturne performances.
Proyecto Público Prim
General Prim 30, col. Juárez
Mexico City’s Juarez neighborhood is the setting for some 400 buildings of more than 100 years in age, and dozens of unique architectural attractions. Public Project Prim has taken charge of rescuing and restoring one of them. A house at General Prim 30, built in the early 20th century today offers a well-preserved structure including exceptionally high ceilings, patios, and terraces. It’s come to serve as a space for contemporary art and expression. Since the building’s re-opening as Public Project Prim, it’s hosted the ACME Salon and Fashion Week Mexico, and now joins the list of emblematic city venues transformed into spaces for digital innovation by MUTEK.MX. During A/Visions 3, Prim Public Project triggers experimentation and the balance between beat and visuals, with the premiere of Double Vision 2.0 by Atom™ & Robin Fox, Membrane by Push 1 Stop & Wiklow, and the Mexican debut of Intercity-Express from Japan.
