► ALTERNATE REALITIES – Seminar and Workshop

Tuesday 20th, Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd Nov

For creatives working with new media Sheffield Doc/Fest, in partnership with the British Council, will deliver a 1-day seminar and 2-day workshop focused on artistic and creative use of VR, marketplace and funding opportunities and insight into the role that film festivals and events have within the immersive economy. Leading producers and curators in the world of VR will discuss exhibition and collaboration in the artistic/creative process.

► AMPLIFY – Symposium

Thursday 22nd, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th Nov

Amplify is an ambitious initiative to connect an active network of artists and curators who identify as women working in digital arts and diverse immersive narrative projects. Through multiple cultures and experiences, Amplify presents a platform for discussing accessibility, inclusion and gender equality among professionals in the local and international industry. After the MUTEK Montreal debut in August, the conversation followed in MUTEK Buenos Aires in September and now continues in Mexico.
