Aether, Interactive installation
Tycho Magnetic Anomaly II is an interactive installation based on a study of outer space and its relationship with humanity. In turn, the work pays homage to the writer, Arthur C. Clark, who inspired by the novel 2001: A space odyssey, along with the symbolism of the monolith. The installation is experienced as a portal for the exploration of the lunar surface and a magnetic anomaly detected in one of its craters, Tycho, the exact proportions of which indicate that it may be the work of a superior non-human intelligence.
Intus is an interactive studio which relies on imagination and innovation as sustainable resources, giving life to immersive experiences, visual installations, and interactive systems. Hand in hand with advanced technology, Intus seeks to reinvent, through the projects, capacities for astonishment and human connection. This is Intus’s second installation for MUTEK.MX, having presented Tezcal for the Nocturne program in 2017.
