Luigi Castelli, Technology Director at INTORNO LABS, is a musician, scientist, programmer and inventor. Holds a Double Major in Music Production & Engineering and Music Synthesis from Berklee College of Music and a Master in Music, Science and Technology from Stanford University, studying under the skilled supervision of Julius O. Smith. Always striving for an endless quest of the secrets of DSP. He studied mathematics and physics at Harvard University and worked in Los Angeles with many musicians and composers. Luigi has always wanted to keep one foot in two shoes: the commercial and the academic world.

With his hypnotic visuals, Jean-Sebastien Baillat is an artistic motif of MUTEK.MX. His work spans from video, web design, prints, and artistic installations which are internationally renown. He is also the owner and founder of the avant-garde design study Baillat. His passion for visual arts, the desire to explore the unknown, his constant use of forms, colors, contrasts, and weird narratives, all these have awarded him certain prestige as a creator of brands which leave a memorable trace. Among his clients one can find Red Bull Music Academy, Cirque du Soleil, and MUTEK.

Inertia is here an audiovisual and immersive study of the movement, speed, strenght and resistance to abstract bodies facing physical and temporary changes of their conditions.
