English musician Kevin Martin has cultivated the most heterogeneous projects fusing various genres such as grindcore, industrial, metal, hip-hop, dub and jazz. His most recent experimentations include working with several singers (Liz Harris, from Grouper; Inga Copeland, from Hype Williams; Deathgrips, Manga, Gonjasufi, Warrior Queen…) and, already under The Bug moniker, exciting reinterpretations of reggae and dub. With mysterious sounds he reaches the tension he had been after in his past projects that had violent shades to them; but this time, the shades combine with the subtlety he polished with King Midas and transformed into enervating music. With this he will transport us through mind-mazes in our next edition. He will be accompanied by Flowdan, veteran MC from East London who started as a Jungle MC in the late nineties before starting Roll Deep with Wiley and has become one of the longest serving members. Flowdan has featured on several tunes with The Bug and from this his name has spread globally.
